about the faith, those who have recently joined our congregation or members who
would like a "refresher" course on what Lutherans believe.

Dr. Kevin Moeller
Location: 8th Grade Classroom
Dr. Moeller has a great understanding of
Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, and enjoys applying both to the lives
of those attending his class. If you enjoy a small group discussion, this class
is for you.
Senior Youth
Zach and Bethany Greatens
Location: Youth Room (East Building)
The Greatens’ enjoy working with the youth
and challenge them to grow in faith and in knowledge as they open up both the
Scriptures and their lives each week.
Women’s Bible Class

A discussion Bible class covering topics that
are of special interest to women. It provides a unique opportunity for in-depth
Bible study, applying God’s Word to contemporary issues facing the woman of
today.
English As A Second Language

A course for the Chinese community of our
area, with the goals of teaching the basics of the English language and aiding
integration into the Immanuel family.

SUNDAY EVENINGS
Senior High youth meet every Sunday evening
through the school year for Bible study and fellowship in the home of Pastor
and Mary Ann Karg. Time is spent in prayer and sharing the joys and challenges
of the Christian life. Always a tasty treat out of Mary Ann’s oven to end the
evening!
MONDAY EVENINGS
Various evening Bible studies are scheduled
throughout the year and led by our pastors and professors of Concordia
Seminary. Watch for announcements!
Our single adults ("20-somethings or
so") meet twice a month for Bible study and fellowship.

lively. Pastor Schmidt, recently retired, is currently leading a study of
Galatians.
FRIDAYS
Chinese Bible Study Group
Location: East Building Room 3
This fellowship is all about gathering,
reading, sharing, praying, singing, caring and reaching out to the Chinese
community!
There are also special classes that are
offered. These are publicized in the Anchor and the Sunday bulletin. The
organizations of Immanuel have topics and special speakers as part of their
regular monthly meetings.
